Oral Diagnosis - Allied Diseases - Treatment Plan )From the very next month my job in the Diagnosis & Radiology Department started under the auspicious guidance of Dr. N. T. Desai. Professor & HOD of the department. My immediate senior in the dept. was Dr.Chopara Dr. Nasha Dr. Kumudben Patel. We had Dr. Mani as a joint professor handling "Oral Cancer Research" Project. Our daily OPD was 180 to 200 patients a day. I learnt - Diagnosis – Differential Diagnosis of Oral & Allied Diseases under the auspicious guidance of my seniors and teachers. My job was to diagnose – suggest treatment plan – and refer patient to respected department. We received from various departments of Civil General Hospital mostly from Surgery- Medicine- ENT departments. To differentiate Pharyngitis Tonsillitis & Sinusitis and Trigeminal neuralgia – Neuritis are certain diseases where symptomatically there is very thin margin between dental and ENT pain.
