Ahmedabad Motor Transport Association

AMTA (Ahmedabad Motor Transport Association) is a premier Association of Goods Transporters in Western Region of India. AMTA was established in the year 1964. AMTA has been rising from strength to strength and today it is one of the premier Organization with membership strength of over 1000 members out of which 40% are Life Members. AMTA is now acknowledge as powerful arm of Transport Fraternity. It is affiliated to its parent body namely All India Motor Transport Congress New Delhi. The Association has had a rich history and has been presided over by innumerable luminaries from goods transport industry in the past. The Association has defined its prime objective as "to protect encourage and promote goods transport business" and to undertake all such direct and indirect activities in the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.
