Global Independent Ethics Committee

The GLOBAL Independent Ethics Committee has been formed with the aim of safeguarding the wellbeing and safety of human subjects participating in various clinical research projects therapeutic as well as non-therapeutic. As India has been emerging as a global hub for clinical research more and more sites are getting into conducting clinical trials and more and more people from the community have started participating in these research projects. Based on the fact that Indian population has still a lot of illiterate or semi-literate people who participate in such research projects the need of a competent and independent ethics committee to safeguard the interests of the participating subjects is extremely high.
