To meet the ever growing demands of industries in India a highly reputed business group of Ahmedabad dealing in machine tool accessories established itself in the year 1964 to manufacture Reversible Tapping Attachments for drilling machines lathes non-reversing spindles etc.. Shortly with success serving as the motivator the company started exporting their products to USA and Canada. This brought further success and the company expanded itself with the formation of two new companies- Indmech Industrial Corporation in 1969 and IMI Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. in 1987
