We are into the business of textiles since 1913 C.E. and before. We have been through all the different times the textile manufacturing industry has gone through. Our forefathers have been engaged in the same business and been best of craftsmen themselves. We have been open-minded interacting with the Design Institutions Craft Organization National & International Buyers to evolve and create this art that is unique and different from other available Bandhanis. We produce contemporary textiles with traditional designs using a variety of colours on natural fabrics. Everything produced is on Natural Fabrics such as Cotton Silks Crape Georgette Gajji Silk and Samo Silks. These fabrics are made from completely organic natural fibres. BANDHANI: \BANDHANI\ TIE and DYE is the most important traditional handiwork of Saurashtra & Kachchhi people in GUJARAT. Bandhanis are very closely associated with deep rooted social customs. It is a must in the marriages of Hindus and Muslims. Discovery of dyed cotton fabric dating back to the Indus valley civilization shows that the art of dyeing using penetrating was well known to the dyers about 5000 years ago. Tie-dye still continues to have an important position in Gujarat. Bandhani of JETPUR KACHCHH and Jamnagar are famous for their intricate handcrafted designs and patterns on Sarees Dresses and Dupattas. These products are completely handcrafted. According to the survey more complicated designs in Bandhanis are finished in villages of Kachchh. Many of them are sent to Jetpur Jamnagar & Porbandar for dyeing and advertising. As stated in the survey of 1961 there were about 4000 people functioning in the tie-dye industry in Kachchh. The leading persons in Kachchh & Saurashtra are KHATRIS who have expanded an effective monopoly on textile production since middle aged times. It is said that the KHATRIS have been coming from Sindh. KHATRIS are known to be the pioneers of this art. KHATRIS still dominate the industry of BANDHANI right from crafting the product and marketing the product with ease. It is made on fabrics such as Cotton Silk Crape silk Georgette and Gajji Silk.
