General Information & precaution While Using Micromedia Dehydrated Culture Meida The preparation of Culture Meida from Dehydrated Meida requires accuracy in preparation. Read instructions carefully given over the lable. Confirm the physical charactrist of the powered meida which should be free flowing & not clumped. Micromedia are high hydroscopic store them in cool & dry place. Ensure Proper capping of the box after use. Efficacy of the autoclave should be checked time to time. Before using Micromedia the Petridishes should be sterilized properly. Never store the prepared media in cool temprature(deep freeze). Bring the stored media to room temprature before use. Conditions May Leed To Clumping High Humidity During Storage. Containers left open even for short period. Containers seal not replaces tightly after use. Media is too old. Reconstitution of Dehydrated Media(Dissolving The Media) Weight accurately in dry & clean flask. Dissolve medium with frequent agitation by keeping in boiling water (indirect heating). Avoid over heating pH Adjustments The pH value of the culture medium shall produce the same value at as mentioned on the lable. pH Adjustment if required should be carried out with 0.1N NaOH solution.
