GKB is 50 old year's organization established in 1960 by Mr. K G Gupta the present chairman of the group dedicated to manufacture and export of ophthalmic Lenses worldwide. Its flagship company GKB Ophthalmics Ltd. was established in Goa in 1983 as a 100% export company. Thereafter another company GKB Vision Ltd. Was established in Goa in 2000 for manufacture of bifocals and progressive lenses. GKB Ophthalmics group has its subsidiaries and associate companies in USA UAE and Germany and accounts for yearly direct export of Rs. 100 crores.
