It was the spirit of adventure and tremendous risks of failure that propelled Mr. Arvind Birla a self made Entrepreneur to make a success of it. To think of importing capital equipments during heavy customs duty and license raj period and servicing them through an all India network of 150 engineers and sustaining in the same field calls for strategic thinking. This is even more difficult since it started with zero capital. It is thought yet true and a fact to be believed. Today the group talks of more than 10000 installations all over India and yearly Turn over of Rs. 350 Million. The greatest achievement of the group is that in spite of tremendous competition from the Local and other European Brand the group has hardly lost a customer. It speaks volumes. The story started through the formation of Rajni International (RI) in 1986 by Mr Arvind Birla as a Kolkata based small trading company. The partner was Europe as a Continent with established players in Germany. In 1991 the group shifted to Ahmedabad since Western India had emerged as development focused region of the country with accessibility to South and North. It was a matter of time before the group established presence in Mumbai New Delhi Chennai Bangalore and Hyderabad to name just a few. What started of as a mere trading organization is today a commercially viable and customer centric service organization without losing focus on applications of combustion engineering. The group not only sells products any more but also sells solutions.
