Mukhtar Shah born on 3rd December completed his B.Com./LL.B in Ahmedabad & has started practicing as an advocate at Criminal Court Ahmedabad since 1988.He had fallen in love with Mukesh's voice from his early childhood and also started singing at various social events and later in college annualfunctions. When he sang one of mukesh's song "Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon" of "Kabhi Kabhi" at a function the immediate reaction fromaudience was to say " Mukesh Mukesh.". He has a voice that could on one hand be deeply melancholic and on the other hand exude a profoundlyinnocent and mellifluous sweetness. It is an exquisite blend of torment and anguish tenderness and joy. He pursued his singing ambitions alongwith his flourishing career as an advocate. Mukhtar Shah began performing publicly in 1984 as a singer as well as a compere at various showswith BABRA & PARTY.Mukhtar shah making his first trip out of the country went to Dubai-Sharjah-Abu Dhabi in 1987 and sang to appreciativeaudiences & became quite famous as a voice of Mukesh and as an announcer 'Stage King '. Since then he is doing regular foreign tours of MiddleEast Countries Europe Canada East Africa and South Africa.He has undergone a voice culture training at Sangitam Symphony by Professor Mr. Sudhir Khandekar.He has performed as a singer as well asannouncer in almost all the reputed musical groups of Gujarat and Mumbai. He has also performed many popular musical programs withAhmedabad Doordarshan and All India Radio as an announcer and Singer. Today he is one of the best singer in the entertainment industrywith voice of late shree Mukesh. When he starts singing with his smooth and sweet voice everyone in the audience feels that they are inlive concert with Mukesh.After such huge success in India as well as abroad as a singer and announcer he started his own company " Aawaz International " in 1994which is registered with Gujarat Government with an intention to promote rich heritage of Indian music to all over the world.
