The worm is made from alloy steel duly case hardened and machined on special purpose worm milling machines. It is perfectly matched with wheel. The worm wheel is made of centrifugal cast PB - NI rims dully shrink felted with high tensile allen moulded on C.I. Centers - hobbing is done on precision hobbing Machine.
