I AM A VASCULAR SURGEON ENDOVASCULAR SPECIALIST AND VEIN SPECIALIST ('PHLEBOLOGIST') — with a busy private practice 'First Choice Vascular' in Ahmedabad India. Many know me through the Vascular Society of India (Past President) and the Venous Association of India (Founding President). I was privileged to do Fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas; the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle Washington; and the Thrombosis Research Institute in London. Two of the world's greatest cardiovascular surgeons Dr. Michael DeBakey and Dr. Lester Sauvage were my hands-on teachers. I am an editorial board member of the Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. I am a reviewer for the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Phlebology and Vein & Lymphatics. In the past few years I have spent time at two of America's leading vein clinics and have become a 'pioneer' of Ultrasound-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy in India. Every year I attend workshops and conferences in the USA Western and Eastern Europe Asia and India so I can be at the world's leading-edge of vascular surgery endovascular intervention and phlebology. I enjoy giving presentations at vascular and phlebology conferences worldwide. I am the Vice-President 2013-2017 International Union of Phlebology.
