Value Education

The central idea of Value Education is practical real-world Skills and Attitude. In keeping with this Value Education the best of visiting faculty with specific areas of expertise and with actual industry experience. A large majority of our faculty are still employed in their field and hence abreast with the latest developments and changes in management. Furthermore our pedagogy focuses on live projects group assignments class presentations and active class participation. Our students spend more time in the field researching for their projects than they do in classrooms taking notes. We believe that learning by experience is far more effective than by mugging facts and theories. The seed for Value Education was conceived in 2006 when our Chairman and Founder Mr Ajay Shad observed that while there was a robust demand for MBAs only a handful of graduates were actually employable. At that time Mr Shad was a successful entrepreneur running an export house with an annual turnover of over Rs 100Cr and growing steadily at the rate of 30% per annum. At the same time he was also running a successful restaurant in the city. Even as his entrepreneurial ventures kept him busy he made time to take guest lectures for MBA students. At heart he is an educator and he always enjoyed interacting with young minds. He realised the tremendous potential that was being wasted due to a lack of direction and confidence in the students.
